Life's a Beach

For Arnold's spring break we took a little vacation down to Hilton Head Island to visit Bibi and Pops. It is always so nice to go home to the beach. This trip believe it or not was Max's first time EVER at the beach. As many of you know Max and I spend a lot of time going back and forth from Clemson to HHI, so this may seem a little crazy. I think it is crazy too, since I absolutely love going to the beach.

Max is definitely like his Mommy because he had the time of his life. Even though it was mid March the temperature was about 75 degrees outside, but the water was absolutely freezing. Max could just not get enough of the ocean. Anytime we would let go of his arm he would just start running straight for the water. We let him go a couple of times and he was running so fast he would fall face first, but would get right up and keep running.

He abslotely loves to play in the sand and get dirty like most little boys.

When we got home Max was covered in sand. I had this FUN idea that I would let Max play naked with the hose since he loves water. So I found this neat red tub that was perfect for this. Max had a blast playing in the tub. I even filled up the bucket with hot water from the sink so he wouldn't be too cold! What a nice Mommy:) After we were finished with the tub we played outside so we could dry off. BiBi came outside to play and looked in the tub and she said loudly, "what's in here?" When I went to go look in the tub I realized Max POOPED in the tub while he was playing!!!! I guess I never noticed because of all the bubbles! Too funny. From now on I am sure we will be making many more trips to the beach.
