Spring Jubilee

Sorry it has been a while since I have made a post, but Max broke my computer charger so I no longer have the joy of just sitting down and working on our blog! So, I am going to take us back to Sunday April 3rd!

This morning Max and I woke up to the smell of an amazing breakfast that chef daddy was making for us. He made us some awesome homemade french toast accompanied with fresh strawberries and bananas. Needless to say it was the best wake up present I have had in a long time, besides Max of course!

Just as the dogwoods begin to show their buds, the small historic town of Pendleton, SC begins to get busy preparing for the Spring Jubilee. It was as if the town had awakened from a long winter's nap. After church we spent that afternoon at the Spring Jubilee. We enjoyed a nice lunch outside at the restaurant 1826 on the Green where Max roamed in the grass and danced and listened to the band with daddy. It was such a wonderful afternoon in downtown Pendleton.
